SELLS QUEEN LATIFAH’S COLTS NECK ESTATE

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, actress and talk show host Queen Latifah sold her Colts Neck mansion February 10, 2015.  Laurin LaLima, Broker-Associate of Century 21 Mack Morris Iris Lurie, introduced and sold her buyers this custom 7,000 square foot estate situated on 9 acres and surrounded by lush equestrian farms.  Originally built and purchased in 2001, it was the first luxury home purchased by Queen Latifah, which she bought in 2001 through Century 21 Mack Morris Iris Lurie.

Born Dana Owens in Newark, NJ, Queen Latifah is a renowned vocalist and actress.   Her New Jersey retreat featured 6 bedrooms, a sunken 2 story great room with gas fireplace and floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the tranquil views, a huge kitchen for entertaining friends and family.  The walk out lower level included a wet bar, exercise room and home theater plus a heated Infinity pool and 2 decks.
